Make this sleeping mask easy to make (DIY)

Make this sleeping mask easy to make (DIY)

This mask could be a special gift for those who need total darkness to sleep, and you can do it yourself in a few minutes.
Few people sleep as much as they want or need. We often give priority to work and other projects, and we hurry to meet deadlines, which leaves little time for rest.

If you're like me, you appreciate the darkness at bedtime. And although I usually get up very early, there are days when I want to stay in bed for a good part of the morning. You need two things; a nap and this sleeping mask.

You will need to
Downloadable template
Two pieces of cloth of 26 x 18 cm, for the front and the back of the mask.
A piece of dark and thick cloth, the same size as the previous ones.
Two pieces of wadding
Cloth tape for the edge of the mask.
40 centimeters thick elastic.
Pins, scissors, sewing machine, thread
Instructions
Cut the fabrics and the batting using the template. Wadding and dark fabric cut them so that they are half a centimeter smaller than the two outer pieces of fabric.
Make a sandwich in this order: Fabric one + wadding + black cloth + wadding + two fabric.
Center the fabrics and use a zigzag stitch to secure the layers. Cut to match the edges.
Place the tape on the edge using pins and attach it to the mask with a straight stitch. Stop frequently to check that it is well insured.
Measure your head to determine how tight you want the elastic band. Fix the elastic with a pin and sew them with stitches over the edge. And ready! Nap time!
