Make these incredible leaf skeletons for yourself

Make these incredible leaf skeletons for yourself

These transparent sheets are an original addition to any of your crafts and you can make them yourself at home.
The skeletons of leaves are beautiful, delicate, and are a perfect material for decorating albums, making the technique of decoupage and other crafts. Although they can be purchased, they can be quite expensive and of little variety.

But in reality they are surprisingly easy to do. Not only can you save a lot of money by making them at home, but you can also personalize them by bleaching or dyeing them with your favorite color. Best of all, you can choose sheets with the shape and size you want.

materials
Sodium carbonate, is also known as washing soda or 'washing soda'
A saucepan
Old toothbrushes
Spatula, gloves and a clamp
The leaves you want to skeletonize
Processing instructions
Collect your leaves and place them in a pot large enough to accommodate them comfortably. Washing soda is a strong base, so you should wear gloves whenever you handle it.
Add ¾ cup of soda and 4 cups of water to the saucepan with the leaves. Light the fire and let it boil. Keep boiling for an hour and a half, and add water permanently so it does not dry out.
Fill a glass container with cold water and begin to remove the skeletons and place them in the glass container. Use the brush to carefully clean any remaining sheet that may remain.
Spread the skeletons on a sheet of paper and let them dry. When they are dry you can varnish them or paint them if you wish.
