Crown with plastic flowers very easy to make (DIY)

Crown with plastic flowers very easy to make (DIY)

With a few plastic bottles and some spray paint you can build this beautiful and durable DIY plastic flower crown for yourself.
Making crafts with plastic bottles is a good way to recycle them. There are many creative ways to reuse plastic bottles in some beautiful and useful items. I show you a nice DIY project; An attractive wreath of flowers with plastic bottles.

This wreath of flowers is perfect to put on your patio and to decorate outdoor parties. The flowers are very durable and most importantly, we give a second life to a used bottle.

Materials and tools
Plastic bottles of 2 liters.
Sharp scissors
Spray paints of various colors.
A base for flowers (I used a small bicycle wheel).
Thread.
Instructions
Cut the bottles in half. You can use the tip of the scissors or a knife to make the initial cut and then continue with the scissors until completing the cut.
We will use the end that is closest to the neck of the bottle. Cut the petals of each flower until you reach the thick plastic of the mouthpiece. You can try different shapes and lengths.
Fold the petals to open the flower. If you resist you can use some heat near the neck of the bottle.
Paint them with the spray. I suggest you use two layers; one that covers all the flower and another (of another color) in the central part.
Use the thread to attach the flowers to the base. Ready!
The best plastic bottles for this project are the thicker bottles of water and the large bottles of soda. You can use the other end of the bottle to make these beautiful plastic cactus.
